Mr warner is a brilliant surgeon in every aspect, his manor with you in his office being very detailed in his explanation of what he is going to do , even going to the lengths of showing you the MRI scan and explaining it, which in my opinion is next level attention to detail to help you have a greater understanding of your body. This made me feel that I was in good hands for my shoulder operation. The scars that I'm left with are tiny in comparison to a friend of mine that had the same operation by another surgeon. Feel very lucky to of been under mr warners knife. I only had to see mr warner 2 months after for a check up and got signed off, that speaks for its self . Hope this was helpful.

Very positive meet and greet routine including shaking hands and eye contact. Active listening - showed he had heard what I said about my condition by referring to what I said as well as his own observations. Good support from his assistant too who was very 'on the ball' - good team work there. Rapid application of suggested treatment, with follow-up to check it was working after 3 months. At this point Mr Warner asked about the pattern of progress I had as a result of the treatment and gave succinct prognosis about future. Next follow -up appointment made with options, in my control, with regard to what I do depending on whether or not the treatment continues to provide relief. I like that I have choices, rather than being on a 'conveyor belt' of one size fits all treatment. Throughout the whole process I was made to feel that during the consultation I mattered, that the consultant was focused on me and my problem, and that he would work to provide me with relief. That focus was tangible, and strikingly different from most other health professionals I have met. I felt his force of personality and professional confidence, but not a jot of arrogance. In the short period I was in his consulting rooms, on each occasion we met, I felt that I mattered. I was rather surprised about how straightforward the whole process was, how little hanging around there was both in terms of waiting for appointments - which seemed very streamlined - and in terms of how I was handled from the moment I entered the building on each visit.

Mr Warner made me fully aware of the need to have surgery to repair the damage to my shoulder. By following his advice and the physio regime I have been more than happy with the results.
